Dough Bowl Candle

These candles are poured in hand carved dough bowls.  Each bowl is unique and varies slightly.  The 3 wicks give this candle a stronger scent.  The wicks are placed away from the edges, and the metal wick tabs at the bottom of the wicks will prevent the flame from reaching the bottom of the bowl.  However, you should always follow burn instructions when burning your dough bowl candle.  Only burn in sight, in an open space.  Never leave your candle unattended.  Keep away from children, pets, and flammable objects and DO NOT BURN FOR MORE THAN 4 HOURS AT A TIME.  Be sure to let your candle burn to the edge the first time you burn it to prevent tunneling.

When you're done with your candle, you can use a heat gun (or a hair dryer works) to melt and remove any remaining wax.  Use a paper towel to wipe out the bowl.  You can use your dough bowl as a decorative piece or refill it with a wax refill kit.

 Our candles are made with 100% soy wax.  Fragrance is infused with phthalate free oils.  (No headaches!)  Soy wax is a cleaner alternative to traditional parafin wax candles and features a longer, fragrant, consistent burn.  The wicks are made from cotton and are lead and zinc free.  

•  The first time you burn your candle, allow the wax to melt to the edge of the jar. This will prevent tunneling on future burns and will ensure your candle burns evenly throughout its lifespan.
• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Before you burn each time, trim the wick to 1/4 inch.
• Never leave a candle unattended.
• If the flame creates black soot residue inside the jar, then the flame is too big and the wick must be trimmed. Blow out the candle, let it cool and then trim the wick before relighting.
